Ankara University Journal of Oriental Languages (AU-DODILDER) is a scientific and peer-reviewed journal published by Ankara University, Faculty of Languages, History, and Geography.
The journal aims to promote and disseminate studies that contribute to the fields of Eastern languages and literatures, particularly focusing on language, history, and literary history within this domain. To achieve this purpose, it exclusively features original studies from the following disciplines:
Arabic Language and Literature

Submissions to the Ankara University Journal of Oriental Languages are expected to address topics such as the history, culture, life, political affairs, religion, and language of the respective societies with a scientific perspective. Articles submitted for publication must adhere to scientific research methods in terms of purpose, scope, methodology, and content.
All submissions undergo a preliminary review by the editors and the editorial board to ensure compliance with scientific research standards. Articles that pass this initial evaluation are sent to two expert reviewers in the field for assessment of their scientific merit. The double-blind peer review process ensures that the reviewers do not know the author's identity, and vice versa. If one of the two reviewers provides a negative evaluation while the other provides a positive one, the article is sent to a third reviewer for a final decision.
Submissions must not have been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Authors of published articles will not receive royalties, and all rights are retained by the Ankara University Journal of Oriental Languages. The scientific and legal responsibility for each article rests with the author(s).
